Description

This is my friend Rosie (left) and myself (right) at our year 12 Formal (equivalent of Prom…). We were both so excited to make our own dresses. Neither of us used patterns, and both were last minute, haha. We had our Formal at this beautiful golf course just down the road from our school. We were walking down to get photos taken, and it’s one of the only photos of the back of my dress…(I’m on the right). I was so pleased with how it turned out, and I managed to quickly whip up a little matching clutch bag, about an hour before the Formal started… Very last minute indeed…

Material Notes

I used a dark navy blue cotton with a lovely textured floral lace over the bodice.

    Put your dress on and take some more pics! :) I want to see a close-up of the back. The shape looks really nice.
