This is project number 2: My box pleated skirt. This pattern was bit harder but I love the fit of the skirt – I had no idea how I was going to put it together but in the end it worked well. Instead of a waistband I made facing or is it a yoke?? for the inside band of the skirt.
I will in future make the pleats a few centimetres lower so the don’t interfere with the zipper.
The material again I found at this new shop – still cheap but better quality and you kind of have a good idea of what you are getting!
Cotton/linen, 20 cm zipper, interfacing

Thanks so much for the awesome comment! I love this skirt too! I wasn’t too sure what I would use this fabric for but when I had to make this pleated skirt I thought it would be perfect! I’ll see what I can do with a how to or pattern – I’m not a good explainer but i’ll see what I can do :)
