Lately I tried to work my way through the patterns I saved but never used. I decided to sew more tops and shorts because I don’t wear that many skirts and dresses anyway. They might look cute and especially skirts are rather quick projects, but I feel more comfortable in trousers.
I thought the Jane top would be perfect for summer, so I started a new project. Don’t let the pictures fool you, the sun was so bright when I took them! The fabric actually is a rather deep shade of blue.
I don’t like low necklines, especially because I thought of this as a casual every day top (I don’t like to worry about revealing too much and usually unconsciously start pulling at my clothes when thinking I do), so I altered the pattern a bit.
I totally hate posing for photos. How do you guys do it? I feel so awkward most of the time.

That is ADORABLE! I wanted to buy the pattern but worried it would be too small for me :(

I downloaded the pattern when it was still for free.
I don’t know your size, but I think the pattern is easily adjustable. :)

I like it, and the color of the fabric matches your hair color! That’s awesome!!!
