Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This is my first project sewn on my brand-spankin’ new sewing machine! I had a little trouble with the pattern and instructions (I had to make the thumb piece larger and the thumb hole smaller, and I had to sew the thumb hem BEFORE I sewed the thumb together) but with a little experimentation I worked it out. I finished these on Friday and my boyfriend immediately adopted them, never taking them off for days and days. Unfortunately I noticed that the previously fuzzy fabric is already starting to pill on the palms. I will have to try something a bit sturdier next time.
