I made this pattern as it’s suddenly got so hot and my usual baby bodies don’t have the longer legs to cover up her nappy. It’s a simple shape but there’s alot you could do to jazz it up. It has a little keyhole opening with one popper on the back but I’m sure you could think of a better idea.
I’d say it was about a size 80 or right for an average one year old. But you can you can easily resize it as it’s a very simple pattern. Also my daughters head is quite small so you may want to make the neck bigger.
This is the first pattern I’ve ever made so let me know what you think.
50cm of a 150cm wide roll of Cotton Jersey.
Don’t forget to use a jersey needle and use a slight zig jag stich to preserve the stretch.
It has a 1cm seem allowance included.
