My daughter needed a mat for nap time at kindergarten. Unfortunately the closest thing we could find with the dimensions her school set was a yoga mat. This was an ugly grey and blue colour and my son bit two chunks out of it almost straightaway (teething toddler) so it definitely needed covering.
The fabric is a very soft faux mink and I have sewn on the iron-on transfer as I always have trouble with these adhering permanently. I’m just a beginner sewist and it isn’t the closest fit but I’m pretty proud of my work :-) My kids love it and won’t get off it because the faux mink feels so soft
