Description

This is made using a free Yohji Yamamato pattern download from Show studio.

It is an unusual pattern in that it is made up of just two large pieces and has minimal instructions for construction.

I fully lined this jacket so it is reversible, this was not part of the pattern but was quite easy to figure out.

Material Notes

grey linen, skull and flowers fabric

Hi. Very cool jacket! Would love to make obe myself. My only trouble is, that I can’t seem to find the pattern on the website. It might just be me (or they might have removed it?), but I would be really happy (!!), if you could maybe tell me where and how to find it? :-)

I downloaded this pattern as well but I hesitate to make it. I like how your version looks the best but is it comfotrable to wear? It seems to look somewhat akward.

It’s not too bad to wear although I must admit I don’t wear mine very often but it is a cool thing to make and the pattern itself and the construction are quite unique and inspiring.

Awesome design! I love linen, did you dye the linen or did you buy it in the grey color?
