Myself and burda member stars were the instigators of a stealth dressing up day at work for Halloween this year (the idea being to suprise those not in on it). Stars had always wanted to dress someone as a Yeti and I had always admired her Space Cat costume from our works community arts project this summer.
With that in mind I used her costume (Space Cat) minus the tail, as a base for my own and we added the boots to complete the look.
The hat is lined with material recycled from an old dress and finished it with large blue teddy bear eyes. The costume was compiled over skinny white jeans and a long sleeve white t.

This is, of course, worthy of the tag supercool :) My house is now almost free of excess yeti fur!

Not too tricky although fitting the hat lining was a little fiddely.. The only reason I rated it intermediate was because of working with long fur…

Working with fur…!!!! I know. I’ve used ‘Polar Bear’ as collar and cuffs once. Drove my batty. On the up side, though, is that if you have the persistance and patience, it can look amazing. Which yours does.
