I lengthened the Tara pattern by cutting the top half, then moving the pattern down and cutting straight, so the bottom hem of the dress is about the same width as the bottom hem of the shirt would have been. All curved seams including the armholes are hemmed with a very tiny zigzag stitch. This dress is so comfortable, I didn’t want to take it off. I can see this with boots and a sweater soon.
