Burda Style For people who sew

I might have cut this just a little too short.
Okay, so i definitely cut it a lot too short !
I don’t really mind very short dresses, but i don’t think my parents would let me go out wearing this ! Maybe with some thick black tights it’ll be okay.
I found a way of wearing it that’s alright (last photos). Sorry about the look in them, i’d just got out of bed haha.
The reason it got so short is the pattern along the edge. I didn’t want to make it too long and not be able to shorten it (not wanting to cut the patterned bit off), because i nerver wear long dresses.
Oh and I love the button i used at the back :)

I love the fabric and the cute button too! It’s a little too short for a dress in my opinion. I think it makes a super gorgeous tunic though.

i can’t stop laughing at your dress title, it sound like something every girl says to her mother thinking to be completely right until…. that same girl become a mother herself!!! (i say this by experience now)

Love the title you have given your dress ; just the kind of thing my daughter would say :-)) I don’t think it is too short, just wear it with thick tights or maybe leggins, you’ll be ok, after all, you have nice legs ! Love the Material and the button is really cute.

Really love this! Nice colour and good work, even if it’s too short!!! Happend to me one time, too, but I wanted to wear it in the evening, so I just wore a jeans mini under it and it turned out really well =)
