For long time I wanted a yellow dress, but didn’t find the right yellow fabric. During shopping at IKEA I saw the perfect yellow … bedclothes! But cotton is cotton, right? I used a Vintage Vogue Pattern (V8789) with a simple classic 50’s silhouette. As only alteration I added pockets hidden in the sideseams.
I like the print of the fabric so much and the skirt is so full, so there is no petticoat needed on hot summerdays.
Hit the road in easy dresses, slouchy tees, and bootcut pants.
