Simplicity 6723 View C in size 8, in dirt-cheap (£1 per metre) yellow spotted blend (polycotton, with emphasis on the polyester, I am guessing). I don’t recall having to change anything about this pattern, though I may have taken in the hips a bit because mine are small (I made this over a year ago so my memory’s a bit hazy)
Some kind of polyester-cotton blend. I actually bought this fabric to make a muslin first, but got impatient and ended up just finishing it as a dress. The bodice is self-lined which makes it a bit stiffer than it could otherwise be.

Thanks for the lovely comments! I haven’t worn this in ages because the fabric, although it looks pretty, is really quite horrible (stiff, transparent, cheap-feeling..) However, you’ve inspired me to start wearing it again :D

Thanks! It was the first thing I’ve made from a pattern in about ten years, and my first dress, so I think I got lucky :)
