A cute summer top I whiped up one night at my grandma’s because I felt the need to own more shirts. A darted bodice gathered at the center with a strip of fabric sewn over to hold them down. I accidentally sewed the gathers too low at the bottom, leaving an enormous amount of cleavage! The saftey pin I’m using to counteract that seems to be only slightly working, but it makes the front look like a giant polka-dotted bowtie, which I think is pretty cool.
The cutest yellow polka-dot cotton, a leftover scrap in my grandmother’s 1960s fabric collection!
