Yellow Pleated Blouse

As soon as I saw this BurdaStyle pattern I knew I had to make it! I love the pleats near the neck and the cut near the armhole.
I did modify it slightly so that it was semi-fitted. I removed a lot from the side seams and added darts to the front.
Also the skirt in the pictures was a pattern from a BurdaStyle magazine as well, but I made the skirt so long ago, I cant remember which issue the pattern was from (an issue from around 2007-2008).

Material Notes

Cotton/polyester blend poplin, black contrasting buttons, yellow gutterman thread, iron on interfacing for the facings.

Garment Type

That’s a good idea, to fit it… Mine is just wide but I like it too, could imagine it being as cute with darts and stuff… :)

Love your top! This is such a nice pattern. I must get it as I’ve seen so many nice tops made from it.

Thanks :D. It’s a worthwhile top to make and own. Especially if you need something dressy for work or a formal occasion.
