These are so fun to make and even more fun for the girls to wear! I made them for my young ladies using the Colette Madeleine bloomers Pattern. I really like the yellow gingham you used and the contrast ribbon is perfect. Great job!

I tried a couple different patterns and ended up drafting a pattern from a combination of things.
One of the patterns I tried out was the colette one, but the length of the crotch was uncomfortably small (if you have any curves at all I would add length). It would probably be fine if your daughter is younger.I ended up using the rear of a vintage shorts pattern and shortening it. The front is the colette pattern (because the bows are so darn cute) I just added a combination of about 6-7 inches between the waistband and bottom of the shorts.

My daughter wants some bloomers and these are great! Is there a pattern?
