Description

I changed the back of the original Marie pattern and instead of the pleats I used a couple of darts. I also adjusted the side seams as they stuck out too much. I added some grey satin ribbon along the waist band of the skirt and trimmed the bottom of the skirt with the same grey ribbon and a narrow piece of lace.

    This is my favorite Marie skirt. Your genius handling of the back makes it really sleek. Thanks for helping me figure out what to do with the balloon-butt problem on my own tulip skirt project!

    This is nice I like the lace at the bottom. It looks better with pleats at the back, I made one and it was very balloony from side view.
