This is another Burda and Simplicity combination. I apologize for not looking in the mirror before the pics were taken or I would have adjust my shirt and skirt a bit :)
The top is from Simplicity 2892. For the most part, I made no changes, although I did make it one size smaller because there seemed to be too much wearing ease. The armholes still ended up being too wide, if that makes sense. I had to cut back almost an inch around the armhole. I also made the seam binding myself.
The skirt is the Voluminous Skirt pattern here on BurdaStyle. The fabric is almost like a very thin corduroy with large navy blue polka dots (it’s more like cotton with a line texture, much like my red black and white dress http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/red-black-and-white-tunic). I only used 130cm for the width as it was a little too big for my liking and my waist is only about 26 inches. I also added the waistband and an invisible zipper in the back.
Overall, I love this outfit and the colour combination!

I absolutely love this -the skirt and yellow top just pop right out together. Excellent work, now I want this skirt…

I just realized that the link to the BurdaStyle pattern was not posted in the original post, I have just updated it so that you can get the pattern. The top is from Simplicity 2892, not the one on the cover but one of the variations. Good luck!
