I downloaded this pattern from www.showstudio.com months ago, but for a long time, I didn’t find any fabric I dared use for it (because it’s such a strange pattern, so I didn’t have any clue whether it would look OK on me). I bought this on sale, for 50 euro-cent a metre, and decided to give it a try. I added a lining. I was really curious about it, because the construction of this garment is unlike any ‘normal’ pattern.
odd gray fabric, on the outside it looks like cooked wool, on the inside it has a synthetic, woven, black backing

Love this pattern. I made one in a really soft thin patterned satin. I love how the pattern allows the jacket to really takes on the characteristics of the fabric, the final look changes so much depending on what it’s made with.

Ahhh, I love this pattern! I made my version of this jacket last year and I wear it constantly. It’s so fashionable and so versatile, I get stopped all the time and asked where I got it. And to think I wasn’t quite sure about the style when I first made it, hahah

If it’s not violating the copyright (I don’t think it is) I’ll try to make a how for it Emilykate. I just won’t be making another one just for that ;)
