Here is my take on the Alexander Blouse recently shopped all over burda. I have got to say, I really love this pattern. The construction is simple (although it would have gone smoother with a serger!) but so unique. Next time I will use a fabric with more drape and make the peplum longer. Otherwise, I lurve it!

this is beautiful! I was thinking of making that pattern and I do have cotton very similar to this. I actually like it that it is less drapy than the other projects. It has a different feel – a bit more structural and I like that.

I have to say I opted against the back buttons. I just couldn’t imagine lying back comfortably with them on you know? Doing so makes for one really large piece, but I liked how uniform it all was. Sorry about no “back” picture! The sun was setting, I was tired from sewing, you know how it goes….
