I made this wrap-over top last summer too, just after the printed tunic. I used the same Burda pattern, number 8116.
It’s made with black velvet fabric, very soft and easy to sew.
I lengthened the sleeves so they cover my hands, and I decided not to add an elastic band, as the pattern suggested.
I like it that way ! :)
