I’ve seen lots of versions of this Isabella Oliver shirt around burdastyle and decided to make on for myself. I just used a t-shirt pattern and attached the long long LONG strips to the end of it. I like the way it hugs my belly. Unfortunately my little baby inside is opposed to anything tight so we have to compromise somewhere between a hug and long draped strips! :)
I found this T-shirt sheet at target years ago… and re found it in my closet upon return to the US. It’s soft and a great color and at $6, it’s the cheapest way to get knit that I’ve found!

I have seen the Isabella Oliver blouse and did not think it was worth the cost, because I was sure I could make it. Thanks for the inspiration…
