Description

Two different versions of this blouse. I’ve made it up 5 times now – that’s a record for any pattern in my entire sewing history! I’m shopping in my stash for the next 12 months, and these two pieces of silk worked perfectly for this classic design.

    love the skirt!! Do you have that posted up as well? What exactly is that colour called?

      I don’t have the pattern posted! It’s an old Vogue pattern by Claude Montana – from the 90’s, I think. It’s a wool crepe in a deep autumn gold. Some people call this colour mustard!

    Lovely blouses! Looking at the magazine, I have just flicked over those pages as the photos of the blouse are very ordinary compared to yours.

      I know what you mean! It’s hard to get a good sense of some patterns because of the way they’re modeled! That’s one reason I haunt the sewing world online – to see ‘real’ pictures of the patterns, and then go from there.
