This project was yet another labour of love, the top is pale green woollen boucle cut in a princess line, the rear has a deep V with a zip. Inside I hand stitched a cerise pink lining and embroidered some positive words inside the bottom of the top.
The skirt is made from 10 layers of silk tulle, with a waistband of pink bias binding. The skirt is entirely hand sewn, with all 10 layers individually hand sewn seams.
Embellishing the skirt are 50 hand embroidered stags heads, using multi coloured embroidery cotton.
I hope to enter this into a Craft Council of Ireland exhibition called pattern.
