Description

This woolen wonder is made from the Talea BurdaStyle pattern. Oh, how I love free patterns! Although the pattern didn’t come with lining instructions and such as, I managed to make my own. How I accomplished it, I’ll never know, but it turned out great all the same. And it’s super warm, too. I can’t wait until winter when I finally get to wear this thing! Hi! Your coat looks amazing! I’m hoping to make one myself – but I was wondering – do you make your coat in a bigger size to accommodate jumpers etc. underneath? Or do coat patterns include allowances for this?

    Thanks

I’m currently tackling the Talea coat, but I’ve also never made a coat lining before. Did you have a good resource/tutorial to help you draft the lining and sew it in? I’m also trying to decide whether I should just line the sleeves as per the Burda instructions. Many thanks in advance for your thoughts!
