Description

The Esther cardigan is such a great pattern! I stitched it up just like it was. No alterations! I took me only one weekend!
As I am always a huge fan of woolen fabric and most recently a huge fan of the esther pattern, it is not surprising that I love my new cardigan. :-)
Instead of a belt I fixed a band with buttonholes and some buttons at the inside.
The last pic shows the way how I gathered the seam of the shawl collar piece. Because of this and also while you are forming by pressing with your iron… you get that round shawl collar shape.

    wieviel stoff hast du denn gebraucht? weißt du das noch? die burda angaben sind ja normalerweise seeeeehr großzügig..

    It’s gorgeous your Esther!!! I like very much the colour you chose for stitching it: violet, and all its shades, is my favourite colour. Good job, as usual. Ciao! lilla

      Thank you! I pinned some plotter-paper at the wall outside our door… because I wouldn’t see these grey pines (correct word?) anymore. ;-)

      Ps: Konnte die Koniferen vor unserm Haus nicht mehr sehen deshalb habe ich eine Bahn Plotterpapier an die Hauswand gepinnt. Meine Tochter sagt ‘ich hab’ ein Rad ab’. ;-)
