This is a dress I made to wear at the local Woodstock. It is custom that everybody is showing off with their personal hair and clothing style.
I made a sketch of this dress last winter and when I saw the Coffee dress pattern I decided that it was perfect as a basic pattern for this dress. So I added the waistband, sleeves, adjust the neckline, added the white for the details and buttons. I did not make the buttons completely straight, I think it adds more character. Since I had the waistband higher up than on the sketch I made no pockets.I am thinking about changing the waistband into a white one, as on my sketch but I have not yet decided.
Black fabric – 95% cotton, 5% lycra, white fabric – a heavy cotton one, buttoms, zipper and thread.
