The Charlie Bag became my go to me-made gift. Whenever I’m invited I bring a bag instead of flowers. I always have one Charlie ready to be given away. Over the past two years I’ve made 2 dozens.
This Charlie is slightly altered, the handles are 10 cm longer and narrower. There is no pocket to fold the bag into. I use rather thick Ikea fabric and the finished bag is rather bulky so I fold it and bind with elastic. The edges are bound with bias tape for strength and clean finish.
