I made this t-shirt in order to apply a couple of new techniques from the Craftsy class about sewing with knits. The t-shirt is based on a pattern from the HomeSewn book. Either because I have not done muslin or becasue the pattern was not “good” enough (or maybe it could be both?), the fit was not perfect.

Even though you don’t think the fit’s perfect, I still think it looks fine! And I love the starry print material – you have a great eye for fabric! I think I need to hunt down this book because I’ve heard so many good things about it…!

Thank you :) I bought this fabric in Yuzawaya, in kid’s section. They offer 30% off lots of stuff if you have a membership card. We should go fabric shopping sometimes!

I love kids fabric here too, but sadly I’m too lazy to walk to Yuzawaya because I live right next to Okadaya… Pretty lame I know, especially as I do really like it there when I do walk the extra 10 minutes! We should definitely go fabric shopping sometime! I would love that! I’m away in Osaka for a bit, but when I’m back that’d be great fun! :)
