my hot little hands held a copy of pattern magic, and my wee little brain ran in terror at the math. so i eyeballed the twisted dress pattern, drew what i thought it should look like… and came up with one of the few solid dresses in my closet. i’m pretty proud of myself; in case you can’t tell from my bratty pose :)

this jersey feels sooooo good, it actually stays cool in summer heat, yet it’s heavy enough to wear over jeans. this is staying in the closet year round. when i asked my fabric guy what kind of jersey it is, he said: “jersey.” oh. that kind. i’m dying to know what type it is!

      AAAAAAAH! AMAZING! i just downloaded a copy. this is great, i made a skirt yesterday that smelled like chai tea when the iron got too hot… oh so many mystery fabrics to go pyro on….

    I have Pattern Magic I and II (unfortunately not in English) and I was just looking through them yesterday, trying to get inspired. Haven’t tried anything yet but your “eyeballin” looks pretty darn good! LOVE the fabric in the background! Info please???

      ah, several peeps have asked about it at le blog… it is a scarf bought on impulse at the cash register bins at… egads… H&M! last summer. i love it to death and wear it almost daily :)

      thanks so much philomenia! everyone’s loving that H&M scarf, so much so that i think it should be a dress— but i love it too much to cut it :)
