Since it doesn’t look like we’ll actually get sunshine this spring in Seattle, I’m skipping ahead and wishing for summer to come faster – where everyday is sunny in CA!
I made this dress during a gorgeous Seattle summer, it is lightweight and has a fun feel to it. It is made from some store bought pattern, but I can’t even recall what company, so if anyone knows, feel free to share! The material is a plaid seersucker with yellow, blue, red, purple and even a little green woven in. This was the first project I tried to add pockets to on my own and they turned out to be a little low…..

sweet!, I love it with the T underneath. I must admit that I am not into alter top dresses

If by ‘alter’ you mean ‘halter’ – it’s not! I wasn’t able to get a great shot of the back, but it is just a regular two-strap dress :) Thanks for commenting!

yeah I get confused with those terms….‘strap top’ dresses, is that the right word to describe your dress? anyway I never wear any of this garments which show too much of the shoulders (got bad back anyway, that’s why I liked the Tee shirt underneath it) hence my ignorance :)
