I’m a little out of season with this dress, but I did wear it a few times before spring came, and really it’s still chilly enough in New England to wear. Dress from Simplicity 2444, made of thick, brown-checked cotton flannel. The pattern has diagonal darts that unfortunately do not show up well in this fabric, but give it a nice fit. It’s very soft and warm for the winter and the weight of the flannel actually makes the full skirt hang nicely. I’m already looking forward to pulling it out come autumn!

The pattern is from Simplicity 2444 (http://www.simplicity.com/p-4463-misses-dresses.aspx). The best I can do is upload a line drawing since it’s not my pattern, but it’s a pretty basic dress, and I imagine it wouldn’t be too hard to divide and rotate regular waistline or french darts. The skirt is just a rectangle with a box pleat in the middle and knife pleats surrounding. Hope this helps :)
