A little jumper made from a reprinted 50’s pattern! I love the high neckline and waist pleats.
This dress was incredibly hard to fit because I have no dressform. But I made do, and it turned out fantastic. The bodice is still a little big, but the invisible zip went in lovely and the blind hem is almost perfect…
If you decide to buy this simplicity pattern remember that it has 4 1/2 inches of ease, so I would go a size small. I know I had to take out at least 4 inches all around and put a couple of extra darts in in order to fit it.
The pics are a little shabby, the photographer in my family is out of town….

The dress looks really nice on you. I like the material! I made this dress too, in pink. Now that I see yours I might make another one!

I have this pattern as well, although I plan to make the one with the fitted skirt. I was wondering about the fitting, as Gertie also said that the pattern has way too much ease. Thanks for the advice!
You did a wonderful job!
