I like dresses and when I found 1,5 m. sweater knit for 30 DKK ($5,4) I just knew it had to become a dress. With the help from some jersey in my collection of scraps it became a very comfortable dress and it is nice and warm during winter. The shape lets me wear it while biking and the jersey on the sleeves is added to prevent the dress from becoming too warm when I am inside.
I made the dress by using a t-shirt as pattern and then made it longer. The purple jersey is used as binding on the neckline, bottom hem and as the lower sleeves.

What a gorgeous winter dress! I have a bad habit of wearing summer dresses all year round (with thick tights, of course) so I think this would be perfect for me. The jersey lining adds a lovely touch. Really cute.
