for some reason i didn’t buy the 10/2010 burda edition despite spotting a gorgeous dress. initially wanted to make a woollen winter dress, I came across the pattern (again) and decided to make a winter version. So i lengthened the skirt and wanted to make longer sleeves as well, but it just didn’t work out and i already had a lot of difficulties with inserting the cap sleeves. It is not as “full” as the pattern suggests it as I didn’t have enough fabric.
It’s not finished yet as I am still undecided about the length. I love the length though wonder when I could wear this dress. a shorter version would definitely blend in more with the “outside world” :P
Trousers, blazers, and blouses in cool neutrals have model-off-duty style.
