Burda Style For people who sew
Description
My newest winter dress. It’s made of colourful tweed with green glitter thread and poliester lining. The top of the dress is cut acording to a pattern no 101 from Burda 2/2011.The bottom is an improvised A-line skirt with side pockets.

I would never have thought of pairing this pattern with this fabric with that tee underneath, but it all works wonderfully well! I love the bright color of the lining! Your sewing looks impeccable.

Lovely! I never had imagined uisng this pattern for a thicker fabric :) I am actually making thispattern myself but i have trouble attaching the lining, shoulders part. Can you gove me some tips or do you have some kind of tutorial video? Thank you in advance!

I guess I’m not going to say anything new: this is a wonderful dress! I originally liked the pattern too, so now you gave it a twist with making it for winter. The striped t-shirt just goes to show how many styles it can be worn! This is the fun way!! :)

very nice job! I like the variability of this dress. There is nothing wrong with the striped T-shirt, it looks a little bit girly like. With a blouse it will be more serieuse. The idea of multifuctional is perfect. Enjoy wearing it!

Thank you! The readers of my blog criticised my striped T-shirt underneath a lot and suggested wearing a retro blouse with a peter pan collar.
