Elmira Heights, ...
Four weeks off of school and this dress is what I looked forward to finishing the most. I bought this knit fabric online back in the spring and never got past cutting out half the pattern. I adore it!
The pattern is Butterick 5206. The only major change I made was lengthening the sleeves (I always try to pull down 3/4 sleeves when my arms get cold, so I avoid them when possible). Being fairly new to knits, I had some issues with the bias binding but got through it slowly but surely. And somehow I lost the belt pattern, so I followed Mimi G’s Obi Belt Tutorial.
