This dress was made from Elaine May’s Coffee Date Dress pattern. It was my first time following a pattern since I was a little kid (and I had to call my mom to ask for her help).
I used cotton but I think I'd like it in a heavier fabric.

LoVe your variation! I signed on to Burda so I could use the pattern! Could you give me a rough idea of the yardage you used?

Your dress looks lovely and fits you so well. I too found the site a cople of months ago and uploaded one of my first projects and was so taken aback that people were bothering to look at my creations but even more stunned that anyone would say such inspiring and wonderful things. This site (well the people on the site) are so inspiring to keep sewing … Bet you have already found your next project … Well done

Wow! All your comments are so nice! I just discovered this site when I decided to revisit sewing after years of knitting/crocheting. I feel so inspired by all your kind comments – I can’t wait to jump into my next project! Thanks!

This pattern is compatible to almost each figure. You looks wonderful and your silhouette comes out very well with this slim belt. Klasse!
