It was my first coat and I need to try again, I think. I have put lining all over rather than just the sleeve like the instruction on the pattern said. So it is more comfortable to wear. Maybe I’ll make the next one with thicker material.

You’ve done a good job. I’ve got a few patterns for coats but haven’t tried to make one yet. Was it difficult?

Hi!! Thank you!!! Well…. as the first try it was ok, but wasn’t easy especially around the colar – the instruction wasn’t that clear, so I kind of made it up… I also could have done better of actual colar itself with much thicker facing too.
By the way by looking your name, are you cellist? I’m a violinist!

I am, I also play violin although not as much as I’d like to. I started on violin and when I was about 7th grade moved to the cello. My photo is actually of my cello in it’s bag on it’s stand on an odd diagonal- my son got the camera and pushed buttons randomly and took this photo among others when he was about 1… I kept this one but it took me a couple of days to work out what he’d actually done to the camera!
