I made this in December to wore to my work end of year party. I wanted something that I could easily throw on and at the same time look very lovely.
I used a lightweight, non-stretchy vibrant chiffon to make the romper. It has a tulip high-low bottom overlays romper shorts, a cowl neckline bodice that features an exposed gold zipper at the back. The romper is finished with a stretch elastic waistband.
Chiffon is a very delicate fabric to work and it require much patience. I took the time and patience as I wanted my style to look professional. The cowl is from March 2013 and everything else is self draft and draped.
I called the style my “wild card”…because it is the first time I have made a style like this and wear it with such awesomeness. I really love how it came out and plan to make a few more.
