I drafted the pattern from my favourite pair of trousers, even though I’m short, I love them! I made them for entertaining on a hot summers evening, so even though they are casual, they can also be dressed-up. I added a sewn pleat to make them look a little more formal, as the fabric is very crushable. The waistband is a drawstring, as I prefer that to elastic.
100% cotton, bias binding tape, cotton thread, cotton tape for drawstring.
