The fabric is leftover wool from my son’s winter cape and the pattern is the same as the pants from this sailor suit. The pants has two big back-pockets and two front hidden pockets on the side seams. I put a black button on the front so my son can easily differentiate the front and the back. He always puts on his clothes backwards!

wow! your little boy is so charming and i love those pants! i have a little boy myself— i think it’s great not to dress them tastefully, not like little army recruits or sports. not that there’s anything wrong with those looks (or those activities!) but i just adore this aesthetic!
