This is a jacket I made for a friend of mine for work. She is very much into lively bright colours. I made it with a wide lapel as she is a medium girl with large bust. This will make the neckline look very appealing and more noticeable in the chosen style. I added banding at the waist to accentuate the smallest part of her waist. I used large covered buttons to finishe the look and finished the edges in biased binding.
It was a bit of a challenge for me as I’ve not made such a structured jacket in a while. I used the Burdastyle Eva Jacket for an idea of the pattern pieces but it was self drafted. I also used a couple tutorials on this site….Thanks burdastyle and burdastyle community
