I made these jeans with the Bella pattern : I absolutely love the result ! Wear them every day ^^
I made some alterations : curved pockets, wider and longer legs, no pleats on the sides and no back pockets. I love it simple and classy :)

Your Bella pants are very inspiring! I love the look of these without pleats. I have my pattern all cut out and I am a little mystified about how to leave off the pleats…did you have to re-draw that pattern piece, or is there another way to do it?

yes, I needed to re-draw the pattern piece (and I’m not perfectly satisfied with it…)
If you want to redraw the piece, try to cut the original piece, sew the pleats and then use it to draw the new one :)

Bien réussi, ton Bella! C’est du jeans stretch que tu as pris?

merci ! j’ai utilisé un matériau assez souple mais pas stretch (je pense d’ailleurs le refaire avec un lainage)

love your version. I am way too wide at the hip for pleats. I want to make these now.

GORGEOUS! I’ve made just one pair of jeans. I highly modified Kwik Sew pattern. These will shoot to the top of the list after seeing what you’ve done. You look fantastic in them.

i never thought i’d ever get used to low rise skinny jeans, but here i am with countless pairs. now i don’t know if i could make the transition back to wide leg versions, but these are classic. so simple (love the clean back without pockets) and the denim looks light. bravo!!!

Love the design changes you made, that’s one of the best parts of sewing, making it your own. Your jeans look great, and the fit is right on! great job!

I really like your version. I saw many variations of Bella pants, but I liked just a few of them. I prefer the pants without pleats, too.

I think these look wonderful! I am not a fan of pleats so I love seeing your version without them. Normally i really prefer jeans/slacks to have some form of back pockets otherwise they just don’t look right to me. Your version, however, is very flattering ,without the pockets. They look great and lucky you because a really great pair of ready to wear jeans can be so hard to find! I just might might make a pair myself now!

Thank you very much !
I totally agree about ready to wear jeans, they always fit me wrong and I end up depressed…
Give this pattern a try, it’s not that difficult and very flattering :)
