Description

I have very few basic white blouses so I stitched up this Violet blouse (via Colette Patterns) to fill the gap in my wardrobe.

The blouse is made of bamboo and has a lovely drape, although its very prone to fraying. I added a small ruffle trim around the peter-pan collar as well as sewing my own buttonholes with some buttonhole silk twist.

Material Notes

Bamboo fabric for blouse, silk buttonhole twist, lightweight interfacing for collar

A lovely classic and a must have for every wardrobe! I like the peter pan collar with the lace, it adds just enough design detail.
