It’s hard to find a simple classic white shirt, so I decided to sew one.
I graded the pattern to a 46 (EU size) and as you can see, it’s still to small.
Cotton batiste
Pattern is again from Idées Couture n°2, which happen to be a new French magazine. It looks like it takes creations from Italian mag La mia Boutique, as far as I can tell by seeing pictures of the cover of the later on the net.

Great job on the shirt! I love the way the seams become details. It looks great, and fits perfectly. What more could you want from a classic shirt?

Beautiful blouse! Sometimes simple white is the best color – I love simplicity in design as well.

I think your shirt looks quite good, but it’s definately too short all over. Is the magazine using the same the same sizing tables as La mia Boutique? Because those are known to run a LOT smaller than those of more northern European magazines, like Burda.

Waw! I think the classic shirt is very pretty, love the pockets! I think it fits you well. Are they allowed to take the patterns from La Mia Boutique? Can I subscribe to them from the US? La Mia Boutique is one of my favorite mags, after Burda of course ;) Where are you looking online at the pictures?
