For over a year I have been attempting to understand garment fitting. This top is one more attempt to reach my goal of sewing garments that fit me perfectly. Not a complete win ~ but not a complete loss, either.
The pattern is Vogue 8815. The fabric is 100% cotton with a tiny, tiny wale in the fabric. It’s a very nice weight for Texas summers. The pattern called for a 22" zipper which I shortened significantly. I’ve written more about this on my blog at: http://www.seasonedhomemaker.com/2013/03/sewing-and-fitting-a-vogue-pattern.html
