2 years ago, as a Graphic Designer member of AIGA, I received an invitation to participate in a Paper Fashion Show. This way I could show my talent to combine Graphic Design and Fashion Design. My theme design was Turkish culture, customs. I had to make the dress from paper and to be wearable by a model on the stage. The assigned material was white Porcelain paper, in various weights. To put it together I used glue, not needle and thread. For this project I was designer, make-up artist, coreographer and model. I enjoyed this project. It was something different and unique. Who knows, maybe in the future, the disposable paper dress will be as common as the disposable paper plates… But this is so far the first dress I designed, made and wear.

As someone who has working in printing and graphic design and is in love with paper, I found this to be fascinating. Great work.
