Another Oxford. There are still some tweaks I would like to make to this pattern (the sleeves are still huge!) but overall I’m pretty happy with it. This pattern doesn’t include a placket for the sleeve vent so I’ve added a tutorial. It’s surprisingly easy!
I used a little silk organza in the collar to give it a little more body.
I’ll be posting tutorials and projects here.
Shirting cotton, thread, silk organza.

I like it ! I wish I had time to create a basic oxford shirt pattern. I guess it would probably be faster to take one of mine apart but they are still in good conditions… I keep wondering why you can find 100% cotton tailored shirts in blue or stripes and all the white ones have stretch !

Yes! I used a burdastyle pattern but I’m seriously considering drafting my own because there are still so many tweaks that I want to make. I also just got the Shirtmaking DVD by David Page Coffin and now I think I could do so much better!
