I was asked by someone to make a gown for their loved one who is very sick and she wanted to be buried in a white gown with lace. She sent me a picture of one she liked but wanted it made out of cotton instead of silk and chiffon. I searched for a pattern and found a Simplicity gown pattern that I used and made a few adjustments. A friend came over this past weekend and assisted me in getting this gown completed as I was not so sure of my skills to make it exactly what they wanted. I am very pleased with the outcome but only wish it were made for a different reason but she was so very pleased with how it turned out and that is all I was hoping for.
100% white tone on tone fabric, beautiful lace.
