FOund this through someone here, on Threadbanger’s site. It’s in my favorites I liked it so much! It’s a video on hw to turn an old oversized sweater into a capelette. I found some old sweaters, so I tried it. I went above and beyond and added a hood. I’m certianly not going to tell anyone about the three mistakes I made either.
Old sweater, binind tape (I guess bias tape would work), two pieces of fabric, ribbon (I used tubing since I have no ribbon) and the video tutorial on Threadbanger.com

What a fabulous idea. And lets face it, what good is a capelet without a hood? I believe for out of five big bad wolves would agree ;)

Exactly! And I’m looking for a nice bright red sweater to make another out of. My favorite fairytale, btw.
